GEP Power Products offers a broad spectrum of standard and custom power distribution modules (PDMs), also known as power distribution units (PDUs) that are designed to provide a compact package, with mounting flexibility and high distribution point density. Manufactured with a rugged thermoplastic housing and silicone seal, GEP’s power distribution modules are designed for use in transportation, off-road vehicle and many other harsh environment and high voltage applications. They are the engineering solution to cost-effective form, fit and function with options ranging from 12 – 96 terminal positions and modular stacking capability.
Please check out GEP’s broad line of power distribution modules (PDMs and PDUs) listed below:
The new GEP Power Products’ series PDM-UXAXX has been expanded to 96 terminal positions to provide additional component flexibility for increasing power demands in today’s electrical systems. This sealed, compact and rugged power distribution module is an excellent solution for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the transportation industry.
The new GEP Power Products’ series PDM-SXXXX has been expanded to 72 terminal positions to provide additional component flexibility for increasing power demands in today’s electrical systems. This sealed, compact and rugged power distribution module is an excellent solution for the Transportation OEM.
The PDM-RXXXX product line is an upgraded version of the PDM-TXXXX series.
Key improvements include strength enhancements throughout, mounting access improvements, ability to mate with the new stackable S series product line.
GEP recommends specifying the PDM-RXXXX product line in all new designs.
PDM-RXAXX…accepts (48) 280 series Terminal Positions
PDM-RXBXX…accepts (3) Mini ISO Relays
PDM-RXCXX…accepts (2) Maxi ISO Relays & (2) Maxi Fuses
PDM-RXDXX…accepts (6) Maxi Fuses
PDM-RXEXX…accepts (3) Maxi ISO Relays
The PDM-TXXXX series features 4 design options that provide higher power component flexibility to meet increasing demand in today’s electrical systems.
GEP anticipates supporting this product line on an ongoing basis, but strongly recommends the specification of the new and upgraded PDM-RXXXX power distribution unit product line in all new designs.

What do Power Distribution Modules do?
A power distribution module (PDM) is used to provide electrical power from a main power source to a variety of vehicle or equipment peripherals which may require the following:
- Compact form factors when reliability and safety are factors
- Cost reduction challenges
- High power electrical terminals
- Meeting government regulations
- Protection from dust, moisture, shock and vibration
A power distribution module is used to improve organization and connection quality and reliability. With GEP’s power distribution units, individual circuits are isolated and can be protected with fuses, diodes or other power protection devices. Because of the environments that off-road vehicles operate in, a reliable system is vital for proper function and dependability.
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Markets that use Power Distribution Units:
- Agricultural Equipment
- ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) Equipment
- Construction Equipment
- Lawn Care Equipment
- Mining Equipment
- Over-the-Road Vehicles (Semis)
- UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle)
